Stretching & horses?

I agree with that whole pre-stretching thing. I do however do some light stretching afterwards.
I used to stretch before and afterwards...but since the articles came out...I haven't been as consistent as I used to be.
[this is good]
I dont stretch much either before a run, but I try to stretch afterwards. Though I must admit, I dont stretch before a run because I run in the mornings and the more I stretch, the less time I have for a run. A guy's gotta get to work, you know.
Hey Kiri, I have moved my running blog to my domain for my main blog (under a sub-domain), it's now: http://run.earthtobella.com/
I deleted my other Vox account after moving all the content, but I'll keep reading your Vox and commenting on your posts with this account.
By the way, I never stretch before running either. Or after, for that matter (which is probably not such a great idea).
I only stretch after my runs, mostly because I'm impatient and just want to get going! Therefore, I like reading the studies that say that I'm doing the right thing :)
Yeah, I think that's what most runners do. I'm glad everyone wasn't telling me I should be stretching beforehand!
Lol, I'm usually the same way with articles. I just read a paper in NEJM about athletes and heart anomalies and now I'm thinking I should get a full body scan to make sure I'm ok even though the results were mostly inconclusive, haha. (Not really but I did get a little nervous reading it!)
I completely see where you're coming from. I hate even "warming up" because that takes away time from the "actual run" in my mind, lol.
Awesome, I'll be sure to check it out. I have registered for wordpress, did you manually move everything or is there some tool to use for transferring the blog? I'm glad you've started to run again!!!

Also, are you going to be in Munich in July?
Haha, me too...I hope this study rules in our favour. ;)
No, I found something that would help at least a little. If you go to the monthly archives (links are in your sidebar) you can find the Full RSS feed for that month in the source code. It looks like this:
http://runforlife.vox.com/library/posts/2008/05/rss-full.xml
You have to save this file to your computer (for every month, just change the numbers to reflect year and month and save them under different names).
It only saves the 10 most recent posts for each month but I saw you never updated more often, so you can move all posts that way (you port them into WP through Manage / Import / From an RSS feed.
You will have to manually port pictures, videos etc. and also tags. That is what cost me the most time.
Oh and yes, I'll be there, except for one extended weekend (around the 26th of July) when I'll be in Heidelberg for a wedding. Why are you asking?
