I interrupt this regular running blog to post about another sport ::gasp::  Ready?

HOCKEY!!!


Now, since my beloved Canucks did not fair well this season I was routing for the Montréal Canadiens.  It progressed to the Habs vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins.  However, the Penguins prevailed and so I was certainly able to route for them in the battle for the Stanley Cup.  Note: I HATE the Red Wings.  Always have, always will.  Let's just not go there or my blood will boil.  Eeeeffff.

So, since I'm done sulking from this tragedy (sort of)....this is my little hockey post to myself. Confession: I have a (not-so-secret anymore) little hockey crush on one of the Penguins....YES, I am aware he is younger than me, he's just such a cutie.  I couldn't find the ad I was looking for (and believe me I looked for a pathetic twenty minutes.)  So here is a different one:

Gotta love it. My undergrad institution was a big hockey area. All I csn say is that I used to bet on the future success of their program by how many recruits knew the meaning of "eh". Ok, the recruits from Denmark and Sweden weren't shabby either.

Well....I'm not sure what happened to the rest of my comment... Anyhow, I'm a huge Canucks fan, but I was cheering for the Habs and Penguins too. I really dislike the Red Wings... That Sedin commercial was hilarious!

That's cool :) Yeah, I have hated the Red Wings since I was little....::sigh:: haha. I think that Sedin commercial is one of the best hockey ones out there!

In the spirit of full disclosure - I'm from Detroit (no offense taken), but dating a Leafs fan (probably no better than the Wings) - just wanted to say that in spite of the Habs thing - enjoy the blog and I totally agree with the Crosby crush, and I'm older than you are. Love the Canucks video!!
